CALL, AND BE
GRADED ON IT.

A register that stamps a call at a price it reads itself, waits out the window, and publishes what followed. Misses are drawn at the same weight as hits. Nothing here is ranked by how many tokens anybody holds.

THE_STAMP

Price at the instant

Read from the deepest pool where this mint is the base side, and written down. No field on the form accepts a price.

THE_WINDOW

Half written

The row appears immediately with its right half ruled and empty, and stays that way for the whole window — no running total, no provisional figure.

THE_MARK

Struck or fell

Drawn at the same size and the same contrast. The only difference is hue, and whether the mark is filled.

/03//how it works

GRADED BY
WHAT FOLLOWED.

Four steps, and the register can only do the first one on your behalf. It cannot accept a call about the past, and it cannot un-record one.

  1. 01stamp itHand over a handle, a mint and a window. The price and the clock are read here, now.
  2. 02wait it outOne of 1 hour, 6 hours, 24 hours, 7 days, chosen at the moment of the call and fixed from then on.
  3. 03it settles onceThe first request after the window shuts takes the closing reading and keeps it forever. The row prints how late that reading was.
  4. 04it counts either wayAbove the round trip it is struck; anything else fell. Both appear in your record, and the record cannot be built from a subset.
/04//what decides a hit

FOUR THINGS.
YOUR BALANCE IS NOT ONE.

01

the price at the stamp

Read by this service at that instant, from the deepest pool where the mint is the base side.

02

the price at the close

Read once when the window shuts, then held forever. A settled record must not move under the person it belongs to.

03

the round trip

A hit must clear +2%. Below that, acting on the call costs more than it returns — so a wash is not a win.

04

nothing else

Not your balance, not how long you have held, not how early you were, not how many calls you have made.

what this is not
  • It is not a signal service. It grades calls that were already made; it does not make any, and nothing here is advice.
  • It does not accept a call about the past. A call enters the register only when this service reads the price itself, at that instant. A price you supply for a moment that has passed is your word about it, and grading your word would be theatre.
  • It does not score you on how many tokens you hold. The record is hits over settled calls and nothing else — no balance, no holding time, no multiplier for being early.
  • It cannot show a hit rate over a chosen subset. The type that carries a caller's calls can only be built by the register, over all of them, and a build that tries otherwise does not compile.
  • It does not call an unreadable price a miss. When the price source will not answer, the call is UNGRADEABLE and says so — that is a fact about this service, not about the caller.
